Wizkid is in a serious relationship with beauty Tania Omotayo but he took to Twitter this morning to write 'Single nigga life'. Is this a bait...(I don't trust these celebrities) or is Wizkid really single again? I hope it's not that Ethiopian girl's claim that caused this o. Will find out if Wizkid and Tania have really gone their separate ways...or maybe he wrote this so we can leave them alone?..:-)

FADA-U-TURN DIES AT 36

One of Nigeria’s most popular 90s musicians Olufemi Mayomi, a.k.a Fada U-Turn, is dead.
 P.M.NEWS learnt the dance-hall artiste passed on in Lagos today, following a protracted illness.He was 36 years old.

 He died in a hospital around Okokomaiko, a Lagos suburb today, after suffering a liver related illness.
 A family member confirmed he had been in and out of hospital for many weeks.
 He was on admission at the last hospital for 10 days before he passed on.
 He was survived by his siblings, wife Ajimoh and five children.

Top on the list of the awardees were Total, Etisalat, Notore, GTBank, ABC Transport, Premium Pension Limited, Cadbury, Elizade, Emzor and Le Meridien Ibom Hotel.

Good Goverance Awards challenge public officers



The BusinessDay Good Governance Awards, which held Wednesday in Lagos, have thrown up a huge challenge to public officers on the need to put the people first in their service mandates. The exciting event had 13 state governors honoured for their sterling performances in different areas of government business
The governors, who were selected based on careful study of their efforts at providing the democracy dividends in their individual domains, pledged to up the scale.

HEAD OF SERVICE, 11 OTHERS FACES PENSION SCAM CHARGES


A former Oyo State Head of Service, Mrs Kudirat Iyabo Adeleke and 11 others were on Thursday November 7, 2013 remanded in prison custody following their arraignment by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission before Justice Bolaji Yusuf of the Oyo State High Court sitting in Ibadan on charges bordering on conspiracy, stealing and criminal breach of trust.

The other accused persons who were arraigned alongside Adeleke are Muili Hakeem Aderemi, former executive secretary, Oyo State Pension Board;  Adedutan Johnson; Oguntayo Banji,  former internal auditor, Oyo State Pension Board;  and Kareem Rasheed.

All Progressives Congress (APC) party leaders on Wednesday visited the hilltop mansion of former military dictator, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, who is widely regarded as Nigeria's number one enemy of popular democracy. The APC party officials went on a desperate mission to seek Mr. Babangida’s support for the political party.

POLICE KILL PESENGER HANGING ON TRAIN IN IKEJA


A passengers hanging on a train coach along the Ikeja boarding station died on Wednesday in a police raid at the rail station in Lagos.


The victim was reportedly running atop the coach to escape violence with which the police swooped on the passengers when he snapped off at edge of the train.

Other passengers who were eye witnesses of the incidence told our correspondent that the policemen appeared with a suddenness that caught the passengers unawares. The police raid, which passengers said had noticeably begun few days ago also saw some passengers severely injured as they snapped off from top of the coaches to avoid police brutality or arrest.

AHAMED ADAMU: CHAIRMAN OF COMMONWEALTH YOUTH COUNCIL

 
A Nigerian, Ahmed Adamu, (pictured above) has emerged the Chairperson of the Commonwealth Youth Council. Ahmed beat several other delegates from twenty one countries to emerge the winner at a keenly contested election which held yesterday Tuesday Nov. 12th in Hambantota, Sri Lanka.

The Commonwealth Youth Council is the recognized voice of 1.2 billion you people and a Nigerian is the Chairman. Go, Nigeria!
